Page Layout
Hide the global navbar and/or footer on an individual page.
Overview
Any page in the Page collection can hide the site's global navbar and/or footer, independent of its content. This is set once per page — it is shared by the English and Thai versions, not localized separately.
Fields
| Field | Type | Default | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
hideNavbar | Boolean | false | Hides the global navbar on this page |
hideFooter | Boolean | false | Hides the global footer on this page |
Editing in Strapi
- Go to Content Manager > Page > select your page (e.g.
team/sompop) - Open the "Layout" section
- Tick Hide navbar and/or Hide footer as needed
- Save and publish
Custom footer recipe
There is no separate per-page footer content type. To give a page a bespoke footer, enable Hide footer and add whatever modules you want at the bottom of the page's Design dynamic zone instead.
Scope and limitations
- Applies only to pages served from the
Pagecollection (/[locale]/<slug>) — not to store routes. - The homepage (
/,/en,/th) is unaffected; it keeps its own existing behavior. - Not localized — one
hideNavbar/hideFootersetting is shared by EN and TH.
Typical use case: staff profile or landing pages — such as team/sompop — that should render without site chrome.
Troubleshooting
Page still shows the navbar or footer after saving. Make sure you clicked Publish (not just Save), and that the page's slug matches the URL exactly.
